Warren County divides jail, Sheriff, and court records among different custodians. The Warren County Corrections Department operates the jail, so its Public Information custodian is the proper starting point for a jail booking or release record. The courthouse-based Sheriff has a separate process for records created by the Sheriff’s Office. Court files and probation matters remain with New Jersey Courts.
